6G-Cloud proudly took part in the First Workshop on Native AI in Future Networks Including 6G (NAIFNET), held on 23 June 2025 in Budapest, Hungary, as part of IEEE NetSoft 2025. The event brought together leading researchers and innovators to explore how AI-native approaches are reshaping the design and operation of next-generation communication networks.
The 6G-Cloud project contributed actively to the technical programme on the topics “Rethinking AI-Powered Service Orchestration: The Case for Decentralisation”, “AI-driven Self-Healing in Cloud-native 6G Networks through Dynamic Server Scaling” and “MLOps as a Service for AI-Native 6G Networks”. These talks reflected 6G-Cloud’s commitment to scalable, decentralised, and secure AI/ML solutions for next-generation communication networks.
In addition to the technical contributions, two members of the 6G-Cloud consortium, Slawomir Kukliński (Warsaw University of Technology) and Antonio Skarmeta (Universidad de Murcia), served as Symposium Co-Chairs of the workshop, further underlining the project’s leadership in the field of AI-native networking.
Supported by several EU SNS projects, including 6G-Cloud, NAIFNET provided a valuable platform to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration within the European research ecosystem working towards AI-native network infrastructures.
