From 10 to 12 February 2026, the 6G-Cloud consortium gathered in Bern, Switzerland, for its 7th General Assembly, kindly hosted by Universität Bern. The three-day meeting brought together project partners for comprehensive technical discussions, strategic alignment, and planning of the next project milestones.
The assembly opened with a comprehensive status update across all Work Packages, providing a clear overview of achievements to date and ensuring strong alignment across the consortium. This was followed by in-depth technical discussions covering ongoing proof-of-concept implementation and validation activities.
Dedicated sessions on dissemination, standardisation and exploitation added a strategic dimension to the discussions, reinforcing how the project’s innovations can translate into real-world impact and future uptake.
Beyond technical progress, the General Assembly also addressed management and administrative matters, including a comprehensive risk review to ensure the project remains on track. Innovation management activities were discussed, while an exchange on contributions to the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking strengthened the project’s positioning within the wider European 6G ecosystem.
The 7th General Assembly concluded with clear action points for the coming months, reflecting a strong sense of collaboration, shared vision, and commitment among partners. The consortium extends its sincere thanks to Universität Bern for hosting a highly productive and forward-looking meeting in Bern.
